Hurricane Harvey - Rockport, Texas

The Town of Rockport, Maine has had an outpouring of generosity seen over the last several days as news of hurricane Harvey hit Texas. When Harvey hit Texas, the City of Rockport was at the center of the storm, and has experienced wide spread and catastrophic wind damage. We in the Town of Rockport, Maine are asking for any financial support to aid in the relief of the City of Rockport. Any contribution, whether small or large, will go toward relief efforts. These efforts could include but are not limited to sending a team of volunteer firefighters, and a select board member to the City of Rockport, Texas, purchasing supplies like water, non-perishable food items, medical supplies, and needed equipment.  Any money that is not expended will be donated to the City of Rockport, Texas, for use as they see fit.
