Operation Saving Southern Dogs

Pictured above is one of the stray dogs living in Texas waiting to come to Ohio.  We are SASS (Save A  Shelter Shih Tzu) Rescue, a 501c3 Shih Tzu and small breed rescue located in Urbana,Ohio. We are bringing 20 dogs from Texas to find their forever homes and families.  They have all been pulled from shelters there and are only receiving minimal care while waiting to come to Ohio.  When the dogs arrive in Ohio we will be vetting them for the following: spay/neuter, exam, routine bloodwork, vaccinations, heartworm test, fecal test, dental check, grooming and microchipping and registration of the microchip.  If any of the dogs come to us with behaviorial problems, SASS has a behavioral specialist work with them.  If additional health problems are discovered, SASS Rescue will provide the necessary care to get them healthy and ready for their family.  We are fundraising for $100 per dog which does not cover all of their vetting expenses, but will help tremendously. These dogs will be arriving here in March 2015 and we want to be able to quickly get them healthy and ready to meet new families.  We would greatly appreciate anything that you can spare to help us meet our goal. $5,$10 or $20 will get us to our goal if we all pitch in. Any funds raised in this campaign will be used towards these Texas dogs.
