MSJI is led by immigrants including the founder whose faced deportation.  Therefore we understand the current immigration crisis in a unique way. Our organization works directly with immigrants, non-immigrants, refugees and marginalized populations. We consider their families our family.

Free of charge, MSJI staff have been advising, advocating and supportings persons unjustly impacted by  the current immigration crisis, including the Muslim ban, and ICE immigration raids tearing families apart for over a year.

MSJI, understands the shortcomings of the law, therefore we use a combination of grassroots legal education, storytelling in addition to the law to promote of justice for all people.

We are an organization that works weekends, nights and anytime we are needed to support our communities during this time of unfathomable injustice and scapegoating.
