For the first time in Musiclands 17 year History, Musicland Needs your Help!
The final blow came with the most Recent Lockdown Restrictions due to Covid 19.
Musicland wants to continue to support Melbournes Bands and bring you, at home the Live Music that you depend on for Free, to keep you sane, and to ensure that Musicland will still be here when we can eventually re open again, which in my opinion won’t be until at least 2021 in the way we know it....
We know, in these troubled times, it’s a big ask, but it’s the only way we can think of, in our continued efforts to support Live Music, Live Bands and the people at Home, while we have no income coming in.
We have literally been bringing you these Live Streaming Events on a Shoe String Budget, With a Lot of Help from our Musicland Family, We have had state of the art Cameras Donated to us, With free labour on Re Wiring and Updating our Streaming facilities, Bands paying for the stream, and then getting paid back with the tip jar, with anything left over going to the Sound Engineers and Recording Teams, and Hosts of the show... and Musicland Donating the Light, Power, Water, Bills and Facilitiles, and in fact we were relying on the 20 patrons paying to see the bands recorded live to keep the show going. But unfortunately with the new restrictions, and dwindling funds, we can no longer continue..
Your donations will firstly go towards continuing our Free Live Streaming Service through ‘In Musicland Tonight’, to pay our wonderful crew of Sound Engineers, Recording Team, Bands and Musiclands Lighting and Electricity Bills, as well as bringing in Bands that YOU want to hear, but who cannot afford the cost to be recorded and streamed..... Please help to keep LIVE MUSIC ALIVE in Melbourne.
Plus, We really want to still be here when we are allowed re open...
Please donate any amount you are able to, but as a special incentive, if you donate a $100.00 or more. We will right your name on a silver plaque as thanks and place it in a prominent spot in the venue. If you donate $500.00 or more, you will have a Gold Plaque in your name plus 1 months free entry into Musicland, and if you go really wild and donate over $1,000.00 you will get a Large Gold Plaque plus 3 months Free Entry into Musicland....
