Aldersgate NJ Music Camp is a United Methodist week-long summer camp for kids ranging in age from 5th-11th grade which takes place at Liebenzell Retreat Center in Schooley's Mountain, NJ. Each summer, many campers come from all around the state of NJ for this exciting, inviting, inclusive-- and fun!! - week of singing, playing instruments (bring your woodwinds, brass, strings, electric guitars, drums, etc.), dance, set-building and staging, swimming, hiking, playing. Everyone will participate in learning and staging a sacred youth musical written by the one and only Mark Miller!
We are a completely self-supporting camp and need your help! We have several campers who need financial assistance, and we have committed to supporting these campers. All donations support bringing our volunteer counselors, volunteer directors, and campers; as well as providing materials, music, activities, and all the other great things camp provides for kids!
In order to keep the multiyear tradition going, we are asking that you consider giving even just $25 in order to help bring the experience of Music Camp, a loving and inclusive ministry of the United Methodist Church, to all campers, regardless of their financial status. On one of our registration forms this year one mother wrote that she was so glad we were doing music cam
again because it is "the most important thing" in her daughter's life. Summer camp truly gives kids a world of good. We hope and pray this ministry will continue here in the state of NJ with your generous donation.
