Mein Name ist Franziska Ruhdorfer, ich bin Sozialarbeiterin aus Deutschland und habe 2023 die Stiftung Raulito Ley „Sueños Urbanos“ kennengelernt, während ich in Medellín, Kolumbien, gelebt habe. Es handelt sich um eine gemeinnützige NGO mit der Vision benachteiligte Menschen auf individueller und gemeinschaftlicher Ebene in ihrer Entwicklung zu begleiten. Ich habe Raul Mosquera, den Gründer der Stiftung, in der Comuna 13 in Medellín getroffen und hatte die Möglichkeit, bei der Arbeit der NGO mitzuwirken. Mein Fokus lag dabei auf der Obdachlosigkeitssituation und der prikären Situation für Kinder und Jugendlichen in den sogenannten “Comunas” in Medellín. Innerhalb der Projekte zeigte sich mir der positive Einfluss und die therapeutische Wirkung von Musik, Kunst und Tanz. Wir haben z.B. Konzerte zur Prävention von Drogenkonsum an Schulen organisiert, zusammen mit Menschen, die von ihrer Geschichte auf der Straße erzählten. Ich habe mich entschieden, die Stiftung weiterhin zu unterstützen und vertrete den internationalen Bereich, damit wir die Arbeit um internationale und interkulturelle Projekte ausweiten können.

Die Unterstützung der Stiftung Raulito Ley ist mir sehr wichtig. Auf meinen Reisen durch Kolumbien habe ich festgestellt, welchen großen Einfluss bewaffnete Gruppen immer noch in diesem Landes haben. Dies führt zu einer Realität von Gewalt, Drogenhandel, Kriminalität, Vertreibung und Flucht. Besonders Kinder und Jugendliche, die in dieser Realität aufwachsen, benötigen Menschen, die ihnen ein Leben ohne Gewalt vorleben.
Außerdem ist der Rehabilitationsprozess für obdachlose Menschen von großer Bedeutung. Eine weitere Person in der Rehabilitation bedeutet eine Person weniger, die in Kriminalität verwickelt werden könnte. Jeder verdient eine zweite Chance, um sein Leben neu auszurichten!
Die Stiftung hat zwei Projekte:
Erstens: "La voz, que la calle no pudo callar" (Die Stimme, die die Straße nicht zum Schweigen bringen kann) konzentriert sich auf die Schäden, die psychoaktive Substanzen bei Menschen verursachen, und die Gewalt, die der Drogenhandel erzeugt. Zweitens: "Sin Violencia" (Ohne Gewalt)”arbeitet mit Kindern und Jugendlichen aus benachteiligten Verhältnissen, in denen Armut und Gewalt eine große Präsenz zeigen. Mithilfe Musik, Kunst und Theater soll “Sin Violencia” präventiv helfen, den Konsum psychoaktiver Substanzen und die Rekrutierung von Kindern und Jugendlichen zu den dort agierenden bewaffneten Gruppen zu verhindern.

Apoyar a la fundación Raulito Ley es muy importante para mi. Viajando por Colombia se nota que gran impacto los grupos armados todavía tienen en conflictos violentes del país. Causando una realidad de violencia, microtráfico, delinquencia, desplacamiento y huya. Sobre todo personas vulnerables como niños y jovenes, que crecen en ese realidad necesitan una opción sin violencia para seguir adelante.
A parte de eso el proceso de rehabilitación por personas en la condición de la calle es un trajabo super importante. Una persona más en rehabilitación significa una persona menos con probabilidad metiendose en delinquencias.
La fundación tiene dos projectos:
Primero: “La voz, que la calle no pudo callar”enfoca mucho su objetivo en el daño que causan las sustancias psicoactivas en los seres humanos y la violencia que genera el microtráfico. La Fundación Raulito Ley “Sueños Urbanos” hace la recaudación, para trabajar con personas en condición de calle “habitantes de calle”, en proceso de rehabilitación y rehabilitados.

I met Raul Mosquera, the founder of the foundation, in Comuna 13 and had the opportunity to collaborate with the work they do. My role was to get to know the day center and the street situation in Medellín, especially the positive impact of music therapy and arts. We organized "conscious" concerts for the prevention of drug use in schools, together with people who have a history of living on the streets. Supporting the Raulito Ley Foundation is very important to me. Traveling through Colombia, it is noticeable the significant impact that armed groups still have on the country's violent conflicts. This leads to a reality of violence, drug trafficking, crime, displacement, and fleeing. Especially vulnerable people like children and young people, who grow up in this reality, need a non-violent option to move forward.
In addition, the rehabilitation process for people in street conditions is of utmost importance. One more person in rehabilitation means one less likely to get involved in crime. Everyone deserves a second chance to move forward!
The foundation has two projects:
First: "La voz, que la calle no pudo callar" (The voice that the street cannot silence) focuses on the damage caused by psychoactive substances to humans and the violence generated by drug trafficking. Main work is the rehabilitation of homeless people in Medellín through music an arts.

The donations from this "Crowdfunding" are used to carry out the "La voz, que la calle no pudo callar" project. We have another "Gofundme" for the "Sin Violencia" project. You, as donors, can decide which project or both you want to support with a donation. Thank you for every single donation, which helps to maintain the projects!
HOW WILL THE FUNDS BE USED? The funds will be used in the therapeutic process through art (mental health, harm reduction, and musical production). Currently, there are three projects in "La voz que la calle no pudo callar" to which the donations are allocated:
1.Musical production together with people in street conditions and internacional musicians as music therapy and an intercultural project.
2.Mental health workshops and drug consumption reduction for people in street conditions in cooperation with Psychology students from the University of Medellín.
3.An open discussion about the results of the mental health workshops as education for society.
WHAT FEELINGS ABOUT MY CAUSE DO I WANT TO SHARE WITH THE DONORS? I want to share the life stories, the most significant moments of these people, and the will to overcome they have had to improve their lives, and that these stories serve as an example for society.
