This is a Campaign for Music!  Muscle Shoals Sound Studios just fell in our laps, and we can't pass this up...

We have been accepted to record at the legendary Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Sheffield, Alabama on July 28th.  We are being assisted by a brilliant friend, artist and gold record drummer, Steve Forrest (Placebo, Planes, A-Oks).  We will be making magic for y'all to enjoy for the the long haul.  We need your monetary blessings to make this happen.  This opportunity just dropped in from the sky, and our grandparents would roll in their graves if we passed this up...

So, here's our "why", and we think a chronology of life-changing moments might make the best point...

*Quick summary of the experiences that have shook us to know that music is the unquenchable truth of the Universe...

*2004 - Michigan - Played in my first bands, unnamed group from Escanaba and the Lochness Rockstars from Marquette = Grateful for Kevin, Josh, Erik, Jason, Jaime and Eppie
*2004 - Michigan/Illinois - Sang is an ensemble choir, found a tenor singing voice, and went to my first music festival, Lollaplooza in Chicago (i.e., the first note of the first band that I was hearing for the first time gave me chill bumps, made me tremble and made me cry; stone sober) = Grateful for Jackie, Jeff, Joan, Judy, Brian and Shawn
*2007-2010 - St. Paul/Minneapolis - Writing and performing with the Magic Black Pumas = Grateful for Rick, John, Kelly, Charlie and Kris
*2011- St. Paul/Minneapolis - Winner of Battle of the Bands = Grateful for Papa B's
*2012 - Joshua Tree, California - Invited to write and record at the infamous Rancho de La Luna Studios (Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal, Mojave Lords), did more writing than recording, did track a gem, "Six Shooters in Leather" = Grateful for Dave, Mathias, Brian and Amanda
*2011 - 2016 - St. Paul/Minneapolis - Writing and performing with Verretta = Grateful for Dan, Alex, Michael, Kate, Dilly, Joe, Derek and Paul
*2015 - Nashville = Meeting Steve Forrest, Caleb Folowill and Brendan Benson 
*2016 - Nashville - Performing on Broadway and Chattanooga = Grateful for Jacquelynn, Lacey and Gina
*2017 - Nashville - Writing and performing with Verretta and owning a business downtown = Grateful for all my guests, and Carson, Joseph, Rhoades, Pam and all my Nashville peoples
*2018, 2019 - Performing in the Mississippi Songwriters Festival - People  were clapping and singing along to music they were hearing for the first time = Grateful for Roland, Gram, Darwin George and our great people of the Mississippi Gulf Coast
*2020 - Writing and performing with Southern Knights = Grateful for Dallas, Tiffany, Tarrin, Cailey, Gracee, Fran, Noelle, Kendall, David, Colin and countless more...

We have validated our purpose.  We know what our talent can do.  We are finally ready to share these songs with a World we have grown to love; and a World that needs something more right now.  Finally ready to stand before y’all with the unquenchable will to do our job.  Our job is to remind y’all that the power of life is made true by what we think about, say and do.  Our job is to inspire y’all to feel something extraordinarily lovely, so y'all will think, say and do extraordinarily lovely things.  Happy is THE new healthy...
