For the past 10 years I have built and hosted musical events at The Crooked Path.  It is wonderful to hear of visitors’ experiences, whether they are folks who just dropped by or returning guests.  The Crooked Path has been a labor of love for me and many fellow musicians.  All is ready for a more/better/bigger 2019 season,  but I can’t do it alone.

I have everything it takes, the place, the stage, the lights, sound-system, chairs for sitting, tea, coffee, heck we even have people who can cook and make wine. We can have fabulous evening concerts, special events, afternoon jams and guest artists coming to perform along with yours truly all summer long.  But here is the hitch: I’m now 70 years old and not rich.  Hiring great players to perform takes more than the tip-jars bring in (and these days people don't carry much cash in their pockets).  Setting up the chairs, tables, sound-system and instruments alone is a hard work.  Add to that,  publicizing the events demands dedication and specialized thinking altogether that is not in my wheelhouse as a musician.

I need support to run the Crooked Path. Therefore I’ve set up a GoFund portal to cover guest artists, to help with setup and promotion.

I’m hoping to raise  $6,000.00 for the 2019 summer season. The more money raised, the more performers can come and the more magic we can create.  The Crooked Path is a place of music, peace, healing and beauty.  We say,  “When the senses are honored, the spirit soars” and hope to see you here.
