Museum of Discovery Flood Damage Support

Tax deductible

Museum of Discovery is a science and technology center  in downtown Little Rock where I serve on the board’s executive committee and as chair-elect. This week, due to historic cold weather, a pipe froze and broke in the building’s broiler room, flooding the museum. Although a team is surveying the damage as I type, I can tell you that the results are devastating. The museum does have insurance to help with repairs, but the expenses will be great, and the loss of revenue as a result of being closed for repairs will result in major losses. This is coming during the business turndown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, making it a doubly tough situation.

I know so many of you value having the Museum of Discovery, one of the nation’s top science and technology centers, in your community and understand the important role it plays in igniting and fueling a passion for science, technology engineering, arts and math. Please show the Museum of Discovery and its loyal staff how much they mean by making a donation to support them during this challenging time. They need us now more than ever. Thank you for your generosity!
