Help us 'TNR' feral cats in Muscat

Help us end the suffering of cats in Muscat

Firstly, what is TNR? 'Trap-Neuter-Return' - the most humane and effective way to control feral populations.

In Muscat, Oman, there is no funding for TNR, nor are there any animal charities.

Add that to the fact that it's kitten season all year round and we have an uncontrolled and growing feral population.

The biggest sadness, however, is that many of the cats and kittens here lead a terrible life and die of starvation, injuries, wounds or worse, abuse.

For those of us desperately trying to pick up the pieces, it's a heartbreaking daily reality to find hundreds of cats and kittens struggling to survive in a brutal reality.

We do our best to feed those we see, get them neutered and, where possible, try to find homes. But homes are few and far between.

A group called Omani Paws has been operating in Oman for years - a few dedicated individuals working tirelessly to help.

With the situation reaching tipping point, it's time for us to appeal to the world for help. Help to fund a mass cat TNR initiative to once-and-for-all help to control the population and end the suffering.

Please help our fight - either by donating or sharing. Every pound makes a difference - just one life saved means the world to that one cat or kitten.

Thank you!
