Murder Victim Funeral Expenses

Our friend Timothy Jordi was 50 years old when his life was violently and senselessly taken from him. His oldest son has been charged with his murder.

He had recently moved to be near his friends and family in TN and had a FULL and happy life. Having had some past personal issues with a bitter divorce, he had overcome and surrounded himself with happiness and love. He was the most giving, selfless, and hard-working man I know and would stop at nothing to bring a smile to someone's face and offer a bit of advice and encouragement. He loved Jesus Christ and was vigilant in helping pastors, missionaries and fellow Christians with building projects, website and computer needs, and offering financial assistance whenever possible. His positive attitude and his infectious smile drew everyone to him. He truly was a loved man. 

His presence is missed in his church pew, around our table, among his family members, at work and at the many kayaking events he was a part of. While he tragically was found alone on the night his life was taken, he was certainly NOT a lonely man. Tim meant everything to us. 

No amount of money will ease the pain of his loss, but I feel impressed we help his brother with the funeral expenses, headstone, and lawyers fees. Until the funeral expenses are paid, a headstone cannot be placed. As you can imagine, it is very important to us that his grave be marked. Tim did have life insurance, but circumstances are such that his brother John is bearing the cost personally. While his family tries to make sense of what happened to him, the least of their concerns should be how to pay for his funeral. Anything we can do to help would be a great blessing to him and the family.
