Mural for fr Lucjan Krolikowski

Tax deductible
Father Łucjan Krolikowski was a Polish Franciscan priest, who in 1949 saved over 150 World War II orphan children from repatriation to a communist Poland. On Sept 7th 2019 he celebrated His 100th birthday, but unfortunately about a month later he passed away. We would like to commemorate His beautiful life and act of heroism by painting a mural depicting His journey with the orphans from Germany to Canada in 1949.

This project is under the honorary patronage of the Polish Consulate in NY and funded partially by Polish and Slavic Federal Credit Union.

The mural is currently being created by a Polish-American artist Rafał Pisarczyk at 27 Grove St in Chicopee, MA, which has a large and vibrant Polish-American population.

Previously we raised $6,000 to cover artist's commission and cost of paint. But due to a large size of the wall donated to us by Polish Home in Chicopee (thank you!) we needed to rent a lift from United Rental, which we didn't budget for. The cost of a monthly rental is $1,550 (see the quote)
hence we are asking to raise that with your support.

With your support we aim at the completion of the project to take place on or about the second half of November 2021.

Thanks in advance for your contribution and God Bless you!
