This isn’t an annual vacation. In fact, I would say it’s anything but. Known as the child sex trafficking capitol of the world, our team is heading into
Pattaya to do anything and everything that we can to help put an end to the sex trafficking industry. For our trip, we will be teaming up with an established organization in Pattaya called the Tamar Centre. This
Centre is a safe place in Pattaya where women and children who have decided to flee the bars and the trafficking industry can go. They offer food, shelter, clothing, first aid, counselling, and training so that the women can earn an income that doesn’t require selling their bodies.
One of things we are doing is throwing a party. Not just any party though! We plan to pay the bar fines of 100 prostitutes to give them a night off. We’ll hold a banquet for them in a hotel and spend the evening loving on them with food, music and encouragement. It gives the Tamar Centre a chance to tell the women what they can offer them in terms of a way out and it gives us an opportunity to love on these women who are so often deemed worthless. While we’re in Pattaya, we will also be working with an organization that provides aid for children living in the slums. These little ones frequently fall prey to sex brokers who are trying to “buy” more children to sell into sex trafficking and slavery. We will have the opportunity to feed them, bring them clothes and to spend a few days playing with them and showing them love.
