THE WHY BEHIND THE REQUEST
A beautiful family, with a beautiful beautiful boy who has spent his days since birth in the NICU at Fiona Stanley and now PMH in Perth recently received the most devastating news, something that no parent ever wants to hear, or know. After weeks of struggling, they have been told their little bundle of joy has been diagnosed with one of the rarest genetic disorders he could possibly get.
Their beautiful baby boy, will not be going home with them, at least, not in the way they envisioned.
Their beautiful boy is deteriorating more rapidly than they had thought and doctors are not sure how much longer he will be with his family. Typically babies affected by this genetic condition don’t live beyond a year but their baby has symptoms that appeared much earlier than his neurologist has ever seen before.
As you can imagine they are beyond devastated as all they've wanted is to be parents and take their baby boy home strong and healthy.
As mothers who have not necessarilly met, but have all been touched by this journey, we are absolutely heartbroken for the family. We have come together to encircle these three beautiful people and are looking to everyone who may wish to donate even the smallest amount to help ease their burdon financially when they have to say a final goodbye to their son earthside.
The smallest things can make the largest impact on someone's heart - and this family has touched many, by their own love, generosity, and the magnitude of strength they have shown over the past 5 weeks with their new baby.
