Hey everyone!
This coming March, several medical, pharmacy, and physical therapy students from the University of Nebraska Medical Center will be heading to Falmouth, Jamaica for a week-long medical service trip.
In preparation for this incredible week of offering health care services to hundreds of people in need, we ask for your help in providing the best possible care to the communities we'll serve in Jamaica. Currently, our biggest barrier is purchasing medications that many of our patients need to maintain their health care. With health care costs on the rise, it has become increasingly difficult to manage the wide spectrum of illnesses that we come across with only a limited variety of medications. Thus, the monetary donations that we would receive on this site will be used to help alleviate these cost burdens, and hopefully allow us to bring forth better care to our patients.
We as a team are extremely grateful for any and all donations, small or large. Many of these patients will go years without seeing a healthcare provider, and with a little help from all of you, we will be better equipped to significantly impact every patient we see and send them on their way to healthier and brighter futures.
