We are embryo adopting!
A year ago, we both had never heard of embryo adoption. We felt a pressing on our hearts to adopt and yet the desire to experience pregnancy and carry our future children was pressing on our hearts as well.
God then interwove the two and opened the door to embryo adoption.
After almost 5 years of pursuing medical help, multiple treatments, failed cycles and walking the path of infertility, we were presented with the option of embryo adoption as a way to grow our family. After much prayer, we firmly felt this was the path God was calling us down.
We realize this is not a familiar form of adoption so to sum it up, any couple who has gone through IVF and has embryos that they have not used have three options 1. to destroy the embryos 2. to donate to science 3. to donate to a couple who cannot conceive on their own. Believing that life begins at conception, this form of adoption felt right to us. To give these current frozen embryos a chance at life and to not discard what is so sacred (a child at its EARLIEST stage of life).
Our first transfer will be by the end of this year. We ask for your prayers!
This journey comes with a price. It will cost around $10,000-$15,000 for one cycle. If you feel it on your heart to donate, we have set up a gofundme. Donations are not necessary, though, as we ask more for your prayers over anything else!
