Dreams of becoming a Doctor
Donation protected
As a young girl I alway knew I wanted to be a nurse. God has blessed me to be able to do just that. I love being a nurse. My 10 plus years of Nursing experience has taught me a lot. It has also encouraged me.
Recently, while working on My Nurse Practitioner degree I came across a med school. I started looking into it. Where I thought there was no path to going from Nurse to doctor, I found that there is.
The program is a Medical education readiness program (MERP). Completing this program would be a sure path to entering medical school. It’s a 15 week premedical program for people with a background in science who hold a bachelor’s degree.
I’m sure many will wonder well why not pay for it yourself. Well I’m sure as we all are experiencing it’s not that easy to just come up with 20,000 for a program with family responsibilities.
I don’t want anyone to put them selves out by no means to help with this goal. However, as someone who gives more then I receive and never ask for anything I thought why not?
The program it self is 13,000. I asked for 20,000 for book’s, material and travel expenses as I may have to go in person to the program.
I don’t want to put my children’s welfare in jeopardy so I can not make the sacrifice financially on my end.
Crazy to ask I know but I know that if this is my path God will provide by any means.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this and your kind donation.
