<div>Founded in 1882 in Blackton, Monroe County, Arkansas, the historic Mt. Union Cemetery stands as a powerful symbol of faith, resilience, and African American history in the Arkansas Delta. Established by formerly enslaved families and Civil War veterans, the cemetery serves as the resting place for generations of community leaders, veterans, educators, and loved ones whose legacies helped shape the region.

<div>Today, Mt. Union Cemetery needs community support to preserve its sacred grounds for future generations. Donations and fundraising efforts will help provide ongoing maintenance, grass cutting, fencing repairs, grave preservation, erosion control, and historical restoration projects.

<div>The preservation of Mt. Union Cemetery is more than upkeep — it is the protection of a historic legacy and the honoring of those who came before us. Every donation helps ensure their stories are never forgotten.
