Father's Funeral Cost & Bills

Donation protected
My name is Randi Cox and I am 23 years old. As most of you know, I lost my dad back in December of 2016. He had some health problems, but his death was unexpected. With this being said, he didn't have any life insurance or any money left because what he did have, people stole from him the night he passed away. He told me his funeral costs were covered, but the funeral home only covered $400 of it. I still owe $8,100 on his funeral costs and I haven't been able to pay a dime on it yet. I also haven't even been able to get a plaque for his grave. I've been paying his truck note, storage building note, and four wheeler note as well as all of my bills on my own since he passed with no help. I only owe $2,400 on his truck and I'm trying to sell his storage building to help pay off the rest so I can start paying for his funeral costs. I lost my mom to stage 4 pancreatic cancer in March of 2011 when I was 17. She passed a month after she was diagnosed with chemo as no option because it would've killed her quicker. My dad and I pulled through when we lost her and became extremely close. We were best friends and he was my go-to person. I also lost my brother when I was 8 years old and all of my grandparents are deceased as well, so yes I'm alone. I'm a full time college student maintaining a 3.5 GPA with no financial aid and I work part time as a waitress and I've been barely getting by. My dad made me promise him that I would finish school so that's exactly what I've been trying to do and will finish doing. I know my sweet dad didn't mean to leave me in such a bind because I understand that unexpected things do happen in this world and he would've never wanted me to go through any of this. If any of you know me personally, you've seen how bad I've struggled emotionally, physically, and financially to make it since everything has happened. I'm about to have my second LEEP surgery on my cervix because my blood vessels and cells are severe again. I'm going to be out of work for at least a week because last time there were complications and I'm being precautious. I'm swallowing my pride and stepping way out of my comfort zone asking for help. If you've read this far, thank you for acknowledging my story. If you do decide to help me, I want you to know that no amount is too small and I pray that God gives you triple of what you give me. Thank y'all so much.
