Self Defense for Girls

In the United States, a woman is assaulted every 9 seconds. Statistics like these are serious, and they illustrate a need for girls to know how to defend themselves. For our service project, we want to provide self-defense training for every senior at our school so that they can be confident and safe as college students and global citizens. We want to establish this as an annual event, and we need your support. We need to raise $2,500 in order to bring trainers (provided by Krav Maga Indianapolis; a training facility specifically created for self defense on the streets) to our school to teach these potentially life-saving skills. It would mean so much to us if you could help us make this project a reality and to keep our fellow classmates and ourselves safe.
