Lindsay's Cancer Surgery and Med Costs

Hello friends and family! I've set up a gofundme because I have recently found out that I have cervical cancer. I cannot get the surgery I need for this without paying $895 up front at the lowest and up to $7500 for surgical costs not including medications and sick leave. Unfortunately we have gone through some really tough financial times this winter, and we are having trouble just affording our basics. We found out the second week of January about my diagnosis and have had 3 opinions from drs recommending a hysterectomy. Cervical Cancer is tricky and can spread without warning to other parts of your body. I fear that putting off the surgery could create further problems. I will also lose 3-4 weeks of work after the surgery in which I have no sick time accrued. This is a very scary time for us, and we are trusting God to lead the way. We don't want to lose our home, or car. Making a decision to keep our home, buy groceries, or get surgery is a horrible position to experience. If you can help or give at all it would be greatly greatly appreciated. I hate even asking. I had no idea how many people out there are not getting treated for cancer because they cannot afford the upfront costs of surgeries and treatments- or cannot take the time off to recover because their families rely on their incomes.
