Ms. Linda's 25th Anniversary

Hi Everyone!
My name is Marissa Burrier and I am a VPK teacher at Memorial Lutheran Chapel School in St. Augustine, FL. I am also the daughter of Linda Burrier, our truly awesome, amazing, wonderful school director. I created this GoFundMe account to serve as a simple way to donate to her gift that will commemorate her 25th anniversary here at MLCS. We hope to raise enough money for this gift, as well as a nice plaque and bouquet of flowers, etc.
In April, Ms. Linda will be celebrating her 25th anniversary at MLCS! This incredible milestone is a testament to her unwavering faith, unconditional love, and overwhelming sacrifice to serve God and others. She has been the glue, the heart and soul, and the single-most reason why MLCS has flourished over the years and stands as the best preparatory school in the county. It is a pleasure knowing how many lives she has touched, and her service is truly something to celebrate.
The amount of love and dedication she has exhibited over the years is unparalleled, and I'm sure if you're reading this you agree that she is one of the most incredible people on earth. It would be wonderful to show our appreciation by gifting her with the ultimate retreat package that is so long overdue for her. I have found what I believe to be the perfect long weekend retreat (4 nights), and it is the best one out there. It starts the day after our last day of school in late May (perfect timing!). I will also be ordering a nice size plaque to commemorate her 25 years of service, and we plan on presenting her these gifts as a surprise with balloons and flowers. The tentative plan is to interrupt chapel time and surprise her on the big day (late April).
This all must remain TOP SECRET until the morning of. I am hoping this will reach as many past Chapel School families as possible, so please share quietly and be diligent about not spilling the beans! Another great idea that was thrown around is to ask for past or present families to write a letter about, share a picture, or both, of the impact Ms. Linda has made on your life and the life of your child(ren). Even if its just a sentence or two, compiling all these and presenting it in a cool scrap book type presentation will be lovely. I know how this would touch her heart so I hope most of you can take the time out to send something to me. You can email me at [email redacted]. I will gladly pick up anything, so we can keep this under wraps.
