Dear Friends and Family,
God has been beyond gracious to me over the past couple years. I've been able to serve at CrossPointe Church in Orlando, FL, first as an intern and now as the Director of Student Ministries. A few years ago, God used family and friends to help make ministry possible. I support raised during my internship and the people I knew generously responded.
I am looking to ask you all to be generous again. Over the past several months, I have enrolled in seminary through Capital Seminary and Graduate School (the graduate branch of Lancaster Bible College). I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Ministry (Church Planting Concentration). So far, it has been overwhelming fruitful, as I'm learning how to better shepherd my students now and even gaining tools that will serve me well in the future.
As of now, I have 75% of my tuition covered through donations and scholarships through Capital, CrossPointe Church, and Spanish River Church (a church that helped plant CrossPointe). I am beyond grateful for my church and others for covering much of the cost. However, I still need 25% of the tuition cost funded (roughly $6000 dollars for the remainder of my time).
This is where you can come in. I am asking my family and friends to help fund me during my time in seminary. Your generosity goes not just to cover costs but is a fruitful investment you can make to the kingdom. I want to cast vision for the generosity you will extend in three ways:
1. Your generosity helps point students to Jesus. Although I consider parents to be the primary shepherd of their kids, there is still a heavy weight of my teaching and leadership to students. I do not take this calling lightly. My training in school allows me to better serve and care for these students.
2. Your generosity helps point those I minister to in the future to Jesus. This training and equipping is a necessary next step to prepare for the future God has called me to.
3. Your generosity helps point me to Jesus. This time has already allowed me to grow closer to my Lord and Savior. And as I pour myself out in ministry, God is using this program to be a tool to be poured into. I am called to seek Jesus first. And as I do that, I can then better call others to do the same.
I hope that you join me in taking this next step in my ministry. I am beyond thankful for the people God has put into my life. All of my love goes out to each and everyone of you. God has given me a calling that I can not do alone. And by His strength, power and Sovereign hand, I trust all of this ultimately to Him. I ask you to partner with me as we lean upon Him to do a mighty work.
