Malak is a 17-year-old girl from Gaza. She was always among the top students, carrying big dreams and limitless ambitions in her heart. She dreamed of completing her education, becoming someone great to be proud of, and raising her country’s name high.

But the war took everything from her. Her school was destroyed, her family was displaced, and everything that connected her to the path of her dreams was lost.

Today, in the most important academic year of her life – the Tawjihi (high school matriculation year) – she knows almost nothing about the curriculum. She suffers from a major learning gap and urgently needs private lessons to catch up, but the costs are too high, and her family's financial situation cannot cover them.

And yet, despite it all… she hasn’t lost hope. She still believes that there are kind people in this world who can support her and help her reclaim her future.

She is not asking for much — just the right to live like other children around the world:

To eat what she craves,

To live in a safe home,

To stop losing family members one after another,

To learn, to live, and to pursue her dreams.
