Corey Siegel's Bar Mitzvah

I have been out of full-time work for over 2 years.  I have a Ph.D.  but only hear "over qualified" for every job I apply for.  I have been only able to secure part-time employment but our bills are mounting to the point of overwhelming us.  I have gone through all of our savings and 401(k) money to pay our living expenses.  My family has been helping us out, but it's getting to the point where their help is putting them in financial jeopardy as well.  I am at my wits end.  Our son Corey is having his Bar Mitzvah this September, and I am in a panic about how we are going to pay for it.  We have to leave the house my son grew up in and try to find more modest living arrangements.  A Bar Mitzvah is a rite of passage for the Jewish people.  We are not asking for an "over-the-top" affair like so many of his friends have had.  We are only asking for help so our family and friends can share in this important moment in our son's life.  Your help would go a long way towards our son reaching this milestone in his life.  Thank you all and G-d bless you.
