New scooter for cancer surviving amputee

I am a stage 4Cancer survivor with a bad hip and a useless leg from my medical.The reason im asking for help is my medical seems to think i dont need a scooter for my daily life, they say i have crutches and a wheelchair which are enough. I did have a used scooter witch was a life saver to me, i was able to do my own shopping and doctors appointments, and able to go see my grand children, i bought a used scooter that unfortunately died beyond repair,so now im am stuck with no independence and have to rely on people to squeeze me in for shopping, i only live less then a mile from all i can do. With a scooter, so i ask you please help me get back my mobilty again since some guy behind a desk somewhere at my medical seems to think i can do it with crutches and a wheelchair, god bless for taking the time to read my story
