Ms. Pursley's Home from Foreclosure

Hello, my name is Matthew S. and I am writing on behalf of a friend in need.  Ms. MK Pursley’s, a Special Education teacher in the Atlanta area.  I was fortunate to have her as my teacher in the early 2000’s.  She has been teaching Special Ed students for more than 20 years.  Not only did she teach the children in her classes, she lovingly cared for them and their families. Unfortunately, in 2015 Ms. Pursley’s was devastated when her position was eliminated.  After losing her job, she still took in her elderly aunt and became her caregiver.  As is her nature, Ms. Pursley’s always sacrifices so much, in order to care for others.

Her career has changed to that of a private home school teach, to a young boy with special needs.  However, a homeschool teacher makes between 60% to 70% less than teaching in private or public schools, without benefits.  This past year has also brought health issues, three major surgeries due to an accident.

She is currently trying to enter back in the public school system, but is in dire financial stress.  She is trying to save her childhood home from foreclosure in the next 30 days.  She has lost so much, I think losing her home would be too much for her to bare.  Facing the possibility of being homeless, while caring for an elderly loved one would be more than most people could bare. Ms. Pursley is a strong woman but very emotional.  Her mother and father have passed away, which makes the heavy burdens harder to carry and she will not ask for help. However, I feel it is now our turn, former students, parents and friends along with  caring people from all walks of life, to come together to help her and try to save her home.   Please make a donation to help save Ms. Pursley’s home.  Pray for teaching job offers to come in for this amazing Special Education teacher.  Ms. Pursley has touched so many lives over the years as a teacher, she deserves to be cared for in her time of need with all she has done for others.
