Ms. Melillo's medical fund

Daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, JICMS PE teacher for 14 years, coach to hundreds of athletes, and friend to everyone, Ms. Jewell Melillo was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, and doctors will remove the right upper lobe of her lung after Thanksgiving. I'm told her recovery will take about 4-6 weeks before she is feeling back to normal.

Thousands of students (literally), parents, and friends have crossed Ms. Melillo's path throughout her 14 years here at James Irwin Charter Middle School, and this is an opportunity for us to give back to her in her time of need.
