Ms. Medyks Recovery

For those of you who don't know, the amazing Ms. Medyk suffered a mini stroke back in August. She recovered pretty fast and was back at school in October. Unfortunately on January 24th Ms. Medyk suffered her second stroke, and is still currently recovering in hospital, but hoping to be released in the next few days to continue her recovery at home.
She will be recovering  for a minimum of 3 more weeks, but could definitely be longer. Because of her medical issue back in August, she is out of sick days. She is concerned about finances, and what we don't want, is for her to come back to work too soon due to financial worries. I am setting this up, so that the money we raise will help alleviate the financial stress of additional upcoming hospital bills, missed wages, and the ability to cover her monthly expenses, as she does not have someone to help with those costs.
Ms. Medyk has worked at North Beach Elementary for over 30 years, and has helped many students go on to become amazing musicians. She is loved by everyone who meets her, and I know there are so many out there who want to help.
Her love in life is teaching these kids, and I can assure you, Ms. Medyk will be back!
For those of you who don't know me, this is Vicky Politi, setting this up, the Dance Teacher and Enrichment Coordinator at NBE. I have been friends with MsMedyk for many years and am constantly receiving messages from people asking how they can help. She needs time off from work to mentally and physically recover, and all money raised will help relieve the stress of missed wages. The entire amount raised will be directly deposited into her bank account.
