At the age of 5, she has been sick for the majority of her life, has undergone countless hospital visits, biopsies, procedures, and flare-ups. The disease causes food-related reactions, infiltration of certain white blood cells (eosinophils) in the GI tract, and an increase in the number of eosinophils in the blood. The symptoms are nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and occasionally diarrhea. In the last year, she has been diagnosed with a third auto-immune disease. The medical procedures AND the life-saving medicine and formula she needs to keep her alive is unfortunately very financially demanding. Her reactions can be fatal, her immune system is compromised, and as of now, there is no cure for this chronic illness. The rarity of this disease, where only 10 in 100,00 are affected, makes for treatment to be completely trial and error. She is set to have yet another procedure soon.  Danielle is beyond grateful for all who donated. Unfortunately, more battles lie ahead.  I have increased the goal to help cover these pending medicals costs.  Please consider helping in any way you can! No amount is too little.
