It is a great honor to represent North Dakota in the 2015 Mrs. United States Pageant in Las Vegas July. I am now a spokeswoman around the state advocating my platform "Redefining Beauty" and volunteering around the community. I have had the opportunity to make a postive impact in clubs, organizations, churches and community events. It has been such a blessing to give back to my state!
I am curently promoting positive self esteem and a healthly lifestyles in young women. While I speak on many different topics, my main goal is to advocate against dangerous eating disorders, many of which come as a result of poor self-esteem in young women. In a society that constantly pressures young woman to achieve physical perfection, I want to remind them that true beauty lies within. I want to be a role model that influences the young people of society to pursue their dreams, goals and passions rather than obsessing over their appearance.
All state title holders are required to fund their own expenses for the natonal pageant in Las Vegas. This includes pageant fees, production costs, flights, and all material costs used in the competition. Many state title holders normally work alonside a director that is assigned to them, but unfortunately, there is no director for my North Dakota, so I am responsible to make all my own arrangements to be ready for the national compeition. This is where I need YOUR help. In order to have all I need to do well in the competition, I must raise a total of $4,000 to cover all expenses.
Right now I am doing one FINAL findraiser to help bring in the last 20% of funds that I need. I have already been so blessed by generous sponsors, and am so grateful for the support I have so far. If you would like to also get behind me and help support my impact, here is the place to do it!
