If you were losing your eyesight and you didn't know when,
what pictures would you fill your life with? This is the question I am facing.
My eyesight is declining and I don't have much left, about 5%. This loss has
motivated me to fill my last images with sights that will fill my soul, carry
me through difficult times and continue to connect me to humanity. This is the
motivation behind my proposal.
I am seeking funding to support a south eastern tour of the countries music festivals (see below for tour schedule). Since I am blind I require an extra person to support my attendance. I would like to raise money for the cost of the tickets, gas and food. The tickets total $1800.
I have some wonderful friends who have agreed to drive me, help me set up camp, get around, etc. I am between careers and I am ready for this adventure. Mostly, I am ready to fill my soul with the sounds of live music, spread the awareness of the blind and finally imbed into my memories the wonder of humanity that is built through out four days of a music festival. Please consider donating to my cause, it is greatly appreciated.
