Mrs. Candy's Medical Expenses
Donation protected
Candy Dennis, or as most of us know her Mrs. Candy, has recently been diagnosied with a rare disease called Cerebellar Degeneration as well as a number of other conditions like Hypothyroidism. In simple terms, her brain is failing and she needs our help. Cerebellar degeneration refers to the deterioration of neurons, your nerve cells, in the cerebellum (the area of the brain that controls muscle coordination and balance). Conditions that cause cerebellar degeneration may also affect other areas of the central nervous system, such as the spinal cord, the cerebral cortex (the thin layer of cells covering the brain), and the brain stem. Mrs. Candy is the owner of her dance studio Revive Dance Xchange. She has given so much back to her students and the community around her. She gives out scholarships every year for students in need. She is the mother of her two amazing kids, Cameo and Lexi who look up to her more than anything. Treatment for this disease is extremely expensive and we will have to pay out of pocket. The total cost for this treatment will end up being around $7,500 possibly more. As you can imagine this is a very hard time for me and my family and we will greatly appreciate anything you can give. The goal is to raise this money to cover most of the expense. Raising all of the money will help put my family at ease and give us the chance to be able to focus on her health and the time she needs with her family without the financial stress. She has given so much to her students and community throughout the years, now is the time for us to give back to her. She needs our support and love now more than ever. Any amount will help, please spread the word to all your friends and family so we can put the woman who has always put everyone else first, a little more at ease with this stressful and difficult situation.
