Hercules! Aka Mr Perfect
This sweet young man is our 16 month old blessing! In the video above he was 3 months and just stole my heart. He is a yellow lab with skeletal deformities in his hind legs as well as possibly other genetic issues but that doesnt stop this pup from living his best life! Its all we want for him! He is our angel and with covid and 2020, we know he isnt something we can handle alone atvthis point. This gofundme is being started and set up to help with the financial aspects of giving him a great life! We do our best but he has hurdles to jump amd hills to climb yet!
We live on 50 acres in the country and we have more love than he can handle! He lives with his doggy brothers and sisters and he definitely loves to play!
Any money raised will go to helping Hercules with his medical bills and needs as they arise.
Here are the issues we know:
-he is either missing, or has fused vertebrae in his neck, not allowing him to turn his head side to side.
-he has front leg deformities
-musclular control issues causing him to kick his rear legs uncontrollably
-inability to control bowels movements or urination. (But he has been getting better as of late and learning ways to cope!)
This little guy has changed my perception of perfection and unconditional love. From birth, he needed help. We had a huge dilemna, let nature be nature or accept that this is a life changing decision to help this living being survive. If u watched the video, u already see there was truly no decision. He had my heart from go. His little legs were small but his heart was enormous. He had to be helped to feed everytime as he couldnt get to mom. He really couldnt get around at all. We cleaned him and held him. He was my "little legs" for months. But seeing his strength, he became "Hercules"! I will always be his daddy and I promised him I would do anything I can to give him a great life, up to and including asking for help. This is a journey and your welcome to come with us!
