‘MRI' is a stop-motion animated short film I finished production on this year. The film is about a patient named Tom who undergoes an MRI scan, only to be transported into a psychedelic space odyssey halfway through. This is a very personal project to me, growing up with a heart condition, I have spent a lot of time in MRI scans and uncomfortable medical environments. I decided to create a satirical twist on the experiences I have had, and in no better medium than stop frame animation.

With this campaign, I plan to raise £1000. Every penny will be contributed to MRI's film festival run, paying for the submission fees (from £35 to £90 each) required for a lot of the festivals I hope to send it to, but can't afford myself. Any surplus amount will contribute to marketing materials for the film, such as posters, postcards, business cards, t-shirts and more.
