The Adventure Begins

Hello, beautiful friends, family, and new faces! My name is Madeline Miller, and starting September 12th, I will be venturing on what will be one of the most growth-filled adventures I've experienced in my last 18 years.
I will start this adventure with spending 3 months at the Youth With A Mission base in the lovely Colorado Springs. I am currently enrolled in the Worship DTS (Discipleship Training School) and will be learning about what it truly means to worship my Father while also developing skills in musicianship, leadership, prayer, and more. After finishing my DTS, I will embark on my outreach phase. During outreach, I will be living in a new country for 3 months serving and loving the people group(s) that reside there. This time spent in whatever country God intends for me to go to is meant to challenge me in my faith, enable me to grow in a new atmosphere, teach me how to endure different challenges, and allow me to practice what I have learned during my time in Colorado.
My heart yearns to be overseas, friends. When I was 8 years old, I read a book about the different people groups scattered across the earth. The desire to meet and love on these people was birthed immediately, and I ran to tell my parents about how badly I wanted to go to Sudan when I was older. As I've grown up, the Lord has blessed me with countless opportunities to serve, love, and grow. From my first missions trip as a freshman in high school to counseling at Hidden Acres, He has been present and faithful through it all to prepare me for the journey that is now in sight.
The funds needed will pay for the cost of my Discipleship Training School and my outreach phase including airfare. In addition to your support, I am working all summer to pay for as much of my tuition as I can. I ask that you would consider being a part of my ministry journey and earnestly pray and ask the Lord if He is prompting you to give. No amount is too little to sow into what God is doing! Not only will you be helping me reach my goal, but you will also become a piece of the story God is writing for my life. Each and every one of you is important.
And, of course, prayer is the most powerful aspect of all of this. I can't do this without God's provision and strength! As this journey unfolds, keep me and my family in your prayers. Pray for safety in my travels both in America and outside of America. Pray for my future teammates and their own support-raising. Pray that Jesus would continue molding and growing me in the months to come. He is a mighty and victorious God, friends! I can't wait to see how He reveals Himself throughout this season.
