Michigan Refugee Assistance Program

Tax deductible
Michigan Refugee Assistance Program (MRAP) is a University of Michigan student organization which aims to help refugees and asylum seekers who have recently been resettled in southeastern Michigan. Through fundraising, education and advocacy initiatives, and direct volunteering, we work to mitigate the effects of the contemporary global migrant crisis and to facilitate a cross-cultural understanding between students and refugees. This month, MRAP  is competing with our sister organization, No Lost Generation at the Michigan State University, to fundraise for refugee-related causes. All money we raise before Giving Tuesday on November 27 will be sent to Samaritas New Americans services – Michigan's largest refugee resettlement program, which provides crucial legal, translation, and social services for recently-resettled refugee families in Michigan.

Are you interested in helping refugees this Thanksgiving season? MRAP invites you to make a donation on behalf of Samaritas today!
