Mr. Smith Goes to Oxford!

Mr. Smith Goes to Oxford!

Hello Family and Friends!

I am very excited to share with you some exceptional news!

After recent auditions alongside countless undergraduate and graduate college students across America, I am among about 90 students INVITED TO ATTEND BADA MIDSUMMER IN OXFORD 2018!!!

Before starting my 3rd year at Juilliard next fall, I am being offered the privilege to study at the British American Drama Academy - Midsummer in Oxford Program! This intensive 4 week program is based in Magdalen College in Oxford University where I will participate in master classes, voice and movement classes taught by leading British and American teachers.

I am humbled and honored to be able to walk the same halls as many great actors who attended BADA. Some of the graduates you may know include Chadwick Boseman (42/Black Panther), Tarell Alvin McCraney (Moonlight/In the Red and Brown Water); Tracie Thoms (911); Phillipa Soo (Hamilton); Jamie Kennedy (Malibu’s Most Wanted), Nicole Sullivan (Black-ish), David Schwimmer (Friends), Paul Giamatti (12 Years a Slave), Orlando Bloom (Lord of the Rings), Brett Dalton (Agents of Shield). Julie Bowen (Modern Family)…just to name a few!

This is an awesome opportunity I have been blessed with and I would really appreciate your help getting me there!

Here’s the breakdown:
$3,960 Tuition [partial scholarship awarded]
$4,990 Room/board/Travel
$8,950 Total Expenses

I am overwhelmed with gratitude even before I see the final results of my fundraising efforts because of how far I have come with the love of family, friends, teachers, professors, directors and colleagues. If you cannot give, please pray for my success and safety while in the UK, and I will tell you all about it when I get back!

Thank you -each one- in advance and God bless your hearts!
