Mr. Richard Rhodes

On Sunday, May 15, the home of Mr. Richard Rhodes, 86 years old from Clinton, caught fire. Due to the quick reaction of a neighbor and three Findlay Township police officers, Mr. Rhodes was pulled from the burning home. He is still in the hospital, as he sustained numerous serious injuries and burns.

 

Most know Rich as the proprietor of Rhodes Lawn and Garden in Imperial. He has been in business nearly 40 years and has continued to work 10-12 hours per day, six days a week to earn a living. He is the kindest man, friend to many and the caregiver to multiple stray cats that he has taken in. He also recently lost his wife who he was taking care of just a few months ago. His home is a total loss, and he was left with nothing.

 

We have known Mr. Rhodes for many decades and are willing to do anything to help him out during this difficult time. Any small donation will help.
