We are truly overwhelmed by the donations and notices coming through this evening. In just 6 hours, the target has been exceeded. We are so honoured by everyones love for dad. For this reason, We would like to issue a small reminder that all donations made above the target will go towards additional IV infusion pumps.

With the deepest sorrow, we announce the death of our father Mr. Mohamed Rabeih Elghorori, on November 19th, 2022, in Cambridgeshire, England.

Dad was 65 years old and peacefully passed away in Addenbrookes Hospital, surrounded by his wife and children.

At the end of July 2022, dad was suddenly diagnosed with terminal adenocarcinoma head of the pancreas with progressive liver metastases. In the short 4 months before he lost his battle, dad fought very hard.

Our father dedicated his life to his work, where he found peace in helping people lead healthier and more comfortable lives. As a Consultant Gynaecologist and Urogynaecologist, his passion was to ensure he was up to date with all innovative surgical interventions to support his patients and pass new skills to surgical staff training in the UK and Egypt.

During the 4 months of his journey with cancer, he put up an inspirational fight aiming to return to his place of passion to continue working with his colleagues and team whom he loved and valued very much.

As a family, we have had the great privilege of sharing our lives with dad; today we are overwhelmingly filled with grief in his absence.

During his journey, dad expressed his desire to provide IV infusion pumps to help children with limited access to cancer treatment around the world.

To commemorate his life, we are raising money to purchase IV infusion pumps for hospitals in developing countries. Each pump varies in price, up to £1300 per unit. However, we intend on working with medical suppliers to obtain the maximum for the final funds raised. If you wish to donate as a tribute to dad, we kindly ask that you do so via the link.
