Mr. C's Medical & Service Expenses

Mr. C was the best tuba player, band director, teacher, neighbor, dad, and husband any of us could have ever asked for. Most importantly, he was the friend we never knew we needed. He opened his heart and his home (the band hall) to each and every one of his students when we needed love and support the most. He gave the best advice about everything from which instrument a first time player should start out with to how to handle high school crushes to how to fill out college applications. He saw many of us on our toughest days and again on the days we triumphed and was there with a sweet smile, words of encouragement, and a joke or two no matter how long his own day had been. He always put his students first and gladly welcomed them back with open arms long after they graduated to hear their stories and see how he impacted their lives. His love for music and instruments of all kinds helped him inspire some of the best musicians in the state and influenced many of his former students to pursue careers in music and teaching and we hope they can continue his legacy of teaching wholeheartedly. He was truly a special person all around, the kind of person you could see on any given day and have a conversation with and leave with a smile. He will be sorely missed by all of his students, both past and present, and therefore, we would like to start this campaign to raise money to help support his family during this difficult time. Please continue to pray for the Chichurka family and the friends he touched during his lifetime. Thank you!
