Mr. Beanz, the 20 pound, 7 year old pekingese wonder pup, is the "mayor" of the town! Turning heads at every corner, greeting strangers with a grin and a friendly lick, aiding his human companions with emotional support certifiably under 'The United States of America service Dog Association', this dog does it all. Mr. Beanz has not only aided in helping his wonderful owner; Kelly, who has owned him his entire life, but also disabled friends and family, bringing joy to all that need a pick-me-up!
It's our turn to pick Mr. Beanz up, he needs our help now more then ever.
During an evening walk, Mr. Beanz strolling through the neighborhood, as he does every night, was attacked by an unprovoked large dog that was not on a leash. Coming from out of no where the dog latched on to Mr. Beanz for what seemed like an eternity. After an eternity had come and gone Mr. Beanz needed emergency care due to the excessive damage the dog had caused him. Suffering loss of teeth, puncture wounds, gingival tears, a fractured jaw and covered in blood the emergency care staff has gotten him to a stable condition.
As you can imagine, it has come with a price the "mayor" can't cover on his own. Here is where we need your help. we are asking for $1500 as our goal to cover the full amount it will cost his owners to pay off. We all could not be more grateful that this wonderful dog has survived this incredibly saddening accident and is in great hands for a long road of recovery. The lasting damage that may never be the same is an off-set jaw and a droopy tounge.
Mr. Beanz now needs us to help him with emotional support along with financial help.
