Our beloved Auntie and 2 young nephews were tragically taken away from us from a blazing house fire in the middle of the night. Both boys phoned their Parents for help, but could not find a way to escape the fire. Auntie was heard banging on the door, but the flames swept through so fast, it was too late. We are in complete shock and devastation to learn of this terrible tragedy as many people were trying to help. We are heartbroken to know that they were burned alive. It took 3 hours to take out the fire out and hours after to find their remains. They have lost everything.
Our Auntie, Bui Thi Quan, had just celebrated her 63rd Birthday. She was a hardworking Grandma, Mom and provider. Auntie was recently here visiting, spending late nights laughing with us and sharing a variety of her delicious home-style cooking. Our Nephew, Bui Duc Tinh, 18 years old, leaves behind a younger sister. Our nephew, Ho Huy Hoang, 14 years old, was the only child. The boys have always shared a special bond with their Grandma since they were born. Without hesitation, they were always willing to help her around the house and they enjoy keeping her company. The unconditional love they have for their Grandma shows how loving, kind-hearted, and considerate these young boys are. They have the sweetest smiles you could never forget. We have replayed these memories over and over, just to cry our hearts out.
This memorial fund will go directly to our 3 families to help cover their funeral arrangements and financial challenges. As we are coping, looking for answers, we are here to comfort the Parents, siblings and children, and to spread the message of hope and healing.
