This past month one of the strongest Hurricanes ever to make landfall devastated the island of Puerto Rico. You've probably seen the images.
We're raising money to assist those most vulnerable in disasters like this; the elderly, children, the handicapped. We will use 100% of proceeds to purchase solar rechargeable generators and distribute these to individuals and families that are in need.
The generators will be able to power small refrigerators, lights and some electronics. Solar panels are placed on rooftops, the generators placed inside home and release no gases and produce no noise. This will allow those that are unable to manage 5 gallon gas cans to have some power until electricity is restored.
The generators will likely be distributed in and around my hometown of Humacao. The need is great...this is a baby step.
