<div><strong>Firefighter Jim Danus, an active volunteer member of Whippany Fire Department since April 2021, an active volunteer member of Florham Park First Aid Squad, and a prior member of Morris Township Fire Department, was critically injured during a training drill on May 6, 2025.</strong> Jim sustained serious injuries and is currently still recovering at Morristown Medical Center before moving on to a lengthy rehabilitation.
