Darkness into Light
Donation protected
As most of you know there is no official Darkness into Light walk this year which has had a catastrophic impact on the services at Pieta House and I am devastated that we won’t come together to share that special moment when we watch the sun come up.
Darkness Into Light means so many different things for so many people. For some it’s hope, others help, and for many survival.
The need for Pieta House’s lifesaving services is greater than ever as Covid19 is spreading worry, anxiety, isolation and financial and emotional strain to many, and they need our help so their frontline services can remain in operation and they can continue to support those who are walking through their darkest hours.
Next Saturday, May 9th, at 5.30am when our walk would have been taking place I'm going to do my own 5km walk, within restrictions, to raise funds and I hope you'll join me by donating or lighting a candle in your window to light the way for all those who are trying to get from darkness into the light.
Thank you.
