Mowgli Surgery

Hello everyone! I'm hoping I can get some help from my friends/family out there. For those who know me, saying I'm obsessed with dogs would be an understatement. In April I was fortunate enough to adopt my own sweet boy Mowgli, and Cameron and I love him to death!
About two months ago he began limping and we were not sure why at first. After a couple of vet visits, some x-rays, and a visit to a specialist we realized the issue was more serious than we had anticipated.
As it turns out Mowgli, our sweet boy, had two fractures one in his tibia and one in his ankle that he received before we adopted him. These fractures never healed properly causing a Deformation in his leg and pain/discomfort each time he puts too much weight on it.
After looking into all possible options the best decision for his quality of life is to amputate his left hind leg. This decision was a very difficult one for both Cameron and I but all we want is the best for our boy.
The surgery and recovery does come at an expense and we are asking for any support possible so that we can help Mowgli through this process and recovery. We would be forever grateful for any help at all. Thank you guys so much ❤️
