Move Mountains for Jaxon

Donation protected
Jaxon was diagnosed at 6 months as having Cerebral Palsy (CP) and because of the way that it developed in his brain, he was at high risk for having seizures. He has been on anti-epileptic medications from that time.

He is now 5 and in the last year his seizures have increased dramatically, we went from one every six months or so to having multiple in a month. He is considered intractable now, which means that none of his medications are working to control his seizures.

At this point the doctors are pushing to have a lobectomy; which means that they want to go in and take part of his brain out to try to stop the seizures, but we wont know until after he recovers if the surgery is successful or not as well as what long term effects it might have on him. While Jaxon has a milder form of CP than some he still has problems with balance especially with some the medications that he is on, coordination, he is impulsive, and has spasticity  or tightness in the muscles for his arm and leg on his left side which only exacerbate his balance problems as well as cause some others.
The service dog would be trained to help Jaxon up after a fall, help to prevent a fall if possible, help him to be safe by preventing him from doing activities that are unsafe such as running out in traffic, and alerting an adult that he is experiencing a seizure so that he can have the help and support that he needs during that time.
The rest of the money would be spent on care of said dog for its lifetime.

Here is what the money would be used for:
Training and purchasing a service dog that would respond to seizure activity and let an adult know that it was happening $15, 000
The equipment, care, vet care, and just general upkeep of having a service animal and the care that it would need for its lifetime. $15,000
Fees (estimated) $2000

Any help would be greatly appreciated the sooner we can get this money the sooner we will all sleep better knowing there won't be any missed seizure activity and the sooner Jaxon can navigate the world with less falls.
