It absolutely breaks my heart to write this note…
Many of you know Jaime Evans but those who don’t, I want to take a minute and tell you about our friend who lives to LOVE! She is a Sister, an Aunt, a Mentor, a Dental Hygienist, and a Single Mother to 3 wonderful children.
Several weeks ago, Jaime was taken via ambulance to the hospital because she was experiencing severe chest pains. She had a massive heart attack, her main artery was completely blocked. Minutes of being admitted, Jaime went into surgery and that is when her life changed forever. She was in ICU for several weeks and was in a medical induced coma for several days. As a result of this, both legs were amputated due to gangrene (lack of blood circulation).
Jaime has a long road of recovery. Beyond her medical bills, she and her three children will have to move into a new home that will need to be handicap accessible.
During one’s life we all encounter struggles and challenges that consumes us. During these difficult times, we can only hope that our family and friends can be the support and guidance we sometimes need.
