Move Mountains for Carol

Our mother, Carol, turned 58 in January and entered the new year with no idea of the journey she was about to face. Of course, she constantly felt the pain, but she pushed her own problems aside to fight for others’ issues. Our mom is the type of person who puts others before herself under any circumstance...her 3 children, husband, grandson, son in law, friends, family, community members...anyone and everyone. She will always do whatever she can to lend a helping hand. It’s just her way. Despite this undying compassion for others, Carol was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Cholangiocarcinoma (Bile Duct Cancer).  This cancer is aggressive and spreading. With this diagnosis, has come many tears and dreadful thoughts, but our mother has been trying to stay faithful with God and His plan. She smiles through the tears, holds positivity in her heart, and spreads love to all who are distraught over this. She truly is one of a kind. However, as anyone would know, any treatment that may be possible is extremely costly, and with that, comes even more crosses to carry that she does not need to right now. Her oncologists are currently proposing that Chemo treatment through an IV may be the best option for her. Therefore, we are proposing that if anyone is willing to help our mom fight this fight and help her have some extra time here, it would be forever appreciated. The tiniest bit counts and adds up.
